Default Oasis- Whatever

Where is this song originally from? B-side? If so, which single? Or is it a bonus track, as my friend got on his Definitely Maybe (that I bought for him, arrrrghh!!)??

Cheers for any info. Great song.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I got DM for my mate for his birthday last year and it was a hidden bonus track, which I wasn't aware of until months later. So I went back to that shop to grab my own copy with the bonus track and they were all gone.

Well that sucks, man. Try www.101cd.com. They usually have a large amount of Import cds, at cheap-ish prices

I think it's just gay how Whatever didn't feature on Stop The Clocks.

Oh and just a little off the topic, anyone heard a certain remix of Wonderwall? It's basically got some wierd but IMO cool sound samples added to it. I found it on Limewire, simple title Wonderwall (awesome remix) so I thought I'd go see what's so awesome about it. After having the original being drilled into my ears since 1995, this version breathed a new life into the song. See what you think anyway.

It was Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer doing semi-acoustics shows in a mini world tour. They had some guy on a snare drum to add a little extra beat and a couple of songs had some keyboard parts, but mostly it was just the guitars.

It was unlike any other show I've been to, with the instruments, 3 chairs and a gold curtain making up the stage. It was so casual and Noel was speaking heaps to the crowd, which was only about 3000 or so, so most of the things that were said to him, he could hear. He is damn funny once he gets going. Loves taking the piss out of the Brits, of which there were plenty at the show.

Heaps of songs were played that I never thought I'd hear live- WHATEVER, Talk Tonight (my fave 'b' after Acquiesce), Half The World Away, Slide Away was great, Strawberry Fields even got a run and they played a slightly altered version of Wonderwall, which was a relief, as I am tired of the original.

But there you go, great show!
