Default How much to pay for a custom recreation of Richie's Strat?

A custom copy of Richie's 90's Strat is for sale in my area. Have any of you guitar players ever bought something like this and what's an ideal price point?

You mean one guy who rebuilt Richie's guitar? So one-of-a-kind?
Tough to find a pricing for that one.

The 2004 Re-issue of his Kramer Jerseystar or the current release of his Ovation doubleneck were/are around 2.000-2.500.
But that's mass production by big brands so it's hard to compare to a one-of-a-kind manufacturing. It also depends on which Fender Strat series the guy used to work on, their pricing range is between 750 - 2.000. Add material (which shouldn't be too much) + his labor hours.
One-of-a-kind rebuilds that just have to look like the original aren't my cup of tea. There are enough Strats around that come close to Richie's guitars and on Ebay you can find his official Signatures on a regular basis as well.
So I wouldn't pay too much for such a rebuild.
