In 2009 nearly at 15:00 Polish time, 14 days before official realased I said to myself WOW The Circle is leaked! After 2 hours I wrote my first listening review.

4 years later, 14 days before official relase date, at 15:00 I even didn't heard snippets ;/

Could you explain me what's wrong with leaking this album? Why we don't have it yet?

Richie CD leaked 3 month before official relase?!! I really thought I will listen What About Now Album today but now I don't think I really will ;/

Of course I will buy official CD but I want listen it now! Where is leak?

Title is about The Circle but I put it because maybe it make some people will try to find it and they'll find.

Aftermath was on web month before someone found it.

Okay that doesn't make a great deal of sense, if it was out there I'm sure it would have been found. I found aftermath on soundcloud long before it was ever posted on jovitalk or Facebook etc and decided not to post it here in the hope that they wouldn't realise their mistake and thus repeat it, meaning we'd get other new music early (or indeed at all, some of the Richie songs on there have never been officially released) but everyone managed to balls that one up by posting it everywhere.

I'm not sure if you noticed but they are trying a different promotional strategy.
The soundboards live is the leak.

Record sales aside, maybe Jon wants a strong first week of sales. Someone like myself might wait a week or two to purchase it if I have a leaked version. Now I will go out same day. Jon put some effort into this CD promotion. Aka the album cover.....

By the way, bands know how many album copies are illegally downloaded. I doubt they know YouTube rips or recorded streams but there is a way to track some it. I remember reading an article on a band who said "we sold X and X were downloaded illegally".

Not that it means anything anyway. I've downloaded things because I was too lazy to run downstairs to get the CD.

Between Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, etc you don't even need to download anything anymore. I think today's music sucks anyway and the bands that I do like, I just order their CDs "used like new" from Half or Amazon. I hate compressed music!!!! There are very few times that I'll run to a store anymore. I will for the new Bon Jovi album though!!!
