That's not the point you were trying to make. You compared Bon Jovi to other acts "who don't mix it up". Meanwhile, going by the rare songs you mentioned, you've seen about 1 show per tour. Despite Bon Jovi supposedly mixing it up per show the overlap of songs is bigger between tours than it is with other acts who actually do change it up. Chances are would you have seen the same amount of shows by another band you'd have seen a lot more different songs than you would with Bon Jovi.
Saying I'm expecting too much is odd considering out of all shows you've seen chances are at least 15 songs have been there every night. Then there's the new stuff so on top of that you've heard about 2 or 3 different songs. And you're saying I'm expecting too much? Your expectations are just way too low and you're clearly not aware of how other bands deal with setlists.

This is exactly the point many people who've critisized the setlists have tried to make. You're really not getting that much variety and you're essentially seeing the same show over and over and over and over again. This changed slightly during the 2010/2011 tour but even that one had so many songs that were there in 2008 as well. And then everything that followed after 2011 was essentially the Lost Highway setlist + some songs from What About Now. So much for variety.
Since 2001 I've seen a little over 30 Bon Jovi shows. Out of those 30 shows 17 songs were there every single night. Considering how Bon Jovi have played an average of 24 songs per night the change is little considering how of those other 7 songs at least 4 were new ones. People saying Bon Jovi mix it up are delusional. I saw Aerosmith play 6 times this past decade, all on a different tour spread out over 3 continents. And although they play roughly the same set every night 1/3 of the set was stuff they hadn't played last time I saw them play.
I've bought tickets for 2 different Aerosmith shows in 2 different countries and I know I'll get to hear a lot of stuff I haven't heard before. Meanwhile, if you buy a ticket for a Bon Jovi show you're lucky if you'll get 1 or 2 different songs spread out over 2 different countries. Sure, the order gets mixed up a bit but the differences between shows are really not that big as both some fans and the band say they are.
Imagine a Bon Jovi show of which 1/3 is completely new to you as you didn't hear it last time you saw the band. It'd mean the following for their last setlist:
This House Is Not for Sale
Something not played last tour
Something not played last tour
You Give Love a Bad Name
Something not played last tour
Something not played last tour
In These Arms
Something not played last tour
Keep the Faith
Something not played last tour
It's My Life
Something not played last tour
We Don't Run
Wanted Dead or Alive
Bad Medicine
Encore:
I'll Be There for You
Livin' on a Prayer
I've kept all the new stuff in there, kept all the big hits in there but everything else has been taken out and could be replaced by something else. This is what your average band does per tour.

I've no idea what you're watching but the band is having an off night here. That show was trashed once it was aired. Jon's pretty much flat from start to finish and performs completely on auto-pilot while the band zones out all the time. Just have a look on everyones faces during the first song (when press is allowed to take pictures) and then the rest of the show. For a good 2,5 hours no one gives a ****.
